Hm...I can so totally relate to what you say; I'd been an X-fan for years, and only recently revived the 'bug' and started reading again;as might expected, I had a LOT of catching up to do-though I am proud enough to admit I'm almost there now!Still a bit confused about Gambit, though, to be honest...puzzling as to whose side he actually atm,but all the more eager to find out, and that means keep on reading!!

As for him and Psylocke...I'm in an RPG when the two of them are together-I play the cajun, actually-so I do like the idea of them as a couple; who knows,maybe it can happen!

Anyways...just wanted to ask permission to join the club-and, of course, I just started writing!*blushes*Still an X-fan, I guess, can't help myself!!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply!

Would love to have you as a member! (although, as you've seen, the club's not very active.)

I checked through my X-Men comics to sort out which ones to keep and which ones to sell, and I found myself drawn into the X-verse again! Not as fanatically as before, I'm not going to buy more comics or anything, but I could still definately see why I fell for it the first time! (I also found some saved messages I sent to recently-converted X-fans to tell them the backstories of some characters, and I couldn't believe that I wrote that stuff... So much knowledge and I don't even remember writing it! lol)

Are you up to date with the current comics? Has anything good happened to Gambit or Psy? I'm kinda afraid to check Wikipedia in case I don't like what I see. ^^

And if you ever write Gambit/Psy fics or draw some fanart, you know where to send it!

I was actually a bit behind on comics-by a bit, I mean nearly a decade,lol!Got hooked back into it last year, when I stmbled into some icons in LJ made from art from Phoenix:Endsong;that was it, I had a total relapse and started to get re-acquainted with the comics I loved so much!Re-read all my old comics and,amazingly enough, I found I remembered everything I ever knew-well, a few details were off, but I recalled everything I ever knew with amazing clarity!I've been reading ever since again, every single month my issues come!!There is a crossover happening in Xtitles right now, one that will change the X-universe in ways noone as yet can foresee;I can hardly wait to see what happens!

Gambit...now, that's a darn good question about him, we're still trying to establish whose side he's really currently on;I have to tell you...he's currently working with Sinister and the Marauders,but I think there's an agenda behind that-it's the cajun we're talking about, after all, he's always been a wild card, right?Psylocke is an Exile atm,looking forward to what that'll bring about,since it is a relatively new development!!Time will tell ,but I think there might be something going on between her and Sabretooth-the Exiles one, he's a good guy!!
